Joseph began writing for marching percussion ensembles in 2002 and has continued to do so every year since then.
His writing styles have contributed to several State Championship Percussion Trophies, stemming from both arranged and completely original material.
During his time of arranging and composing, Joseph was also caption head of several successful programs in New Jersey and Florida. The experience of teaching from day 1 to finals from 2002-2017 gives Joseph the insight and perspective needed to put together a musical program that is enjoyable, effective, fun, award-worthy, and most importantly, executable. His teaching experience also serves him well as a program consultant… granting him the ability to get a lot done in a short amount of time while in the trenches. Aside from his involvement in the marching arts, Joseph was also a cast member of the U.S and Tour casts of STOMP from 2007-2011.
Joseph currently lives in Florida with his wife and 2 children, and is a performer for Disney Live Entertainment, Universal Studios Orlando, and several other Central Florida venues. Joseph is also the co-owner of Red Ant Recordings, a recording/production company offering composition for branding, along with professional mixing services.
